Anne Celeste Heche was an American actor who is known for her performances across a range of types of film, television and the theater. Her accolades include a Daytime Emmy Award, a National Board of Review Award among others. Anne Celeste Heche, born on May 25, 1969, in New York City, died on August 11, 2022 in Los Angeles is an American actor. First gaining recognition in the role of Vicky Hudson, and Marley Love from the soap opera Another World (from 1987-1991), she won the two Soap Opera Digest Awards. In the 90s, she gained more fame with her roles in the films Donnie Brasco (1997), Volcano (1997) as well as I Know What You Did in the Summer (1997). The actress has also been seen in the action-comedy movie Six Days Seven Nights (1998) and the comedy-action film Wag the Dog (1997) and the thriller drama Return to Paradise (2000) and the political comedy Wag the Dog (2007). Anne Lockhart was born Anne Kathleen Maloney on September 6, 1953. She is an American Actress. She is most famous for her role as Lieutenant Sheba in the Battlestar Galactica TV series from 1978-1979. She's the daughter and granddaughter of actor Gene Lockhart. Lockhart's career started at a very young age. She was just four years old when her first role as an actor was as a character in T is for Tumbleweed. This short subject film was selected for the academy award. Her mother invited her to a Studio where she was introduced to how the film industry worked. Lockhart played in numerous scenes of Lassie. Dora in Jory was her debut film in the year 1972. The Sixth Sense was a program on television that was aired in 1972. At the age of 18, she played Joan Crawford, Joan's daughter. Joan acted in this episode for the final time. Anne turned down the part of Laurie Strode that she was offered in John Carpenter's Halloween 1978. Jaime Lee Curtis later was the actor. Carpenter claims that Anne declined his invitation to be Laurie Strode. Anne isn't sure if she remembers John Carpenter contacting her or offer the part. Her agent might have turned down the opportunity in her name and with no knowledge. She was initially chosen to play the role by Glen Larson who sent her an initial script for a role in the 1978 TV series Battlestar Galactica. She initially rejected the part because she felt the character was weak. Glen developed a different character to play Sheba, which was much more powerful. After she read the first 25 pages of the The Living Legend script, The Living Legend she accepted instantly. The film ran for one season. She appeared in Joyride (1977), a film that she co-starred in and performed in along alongside Desi Arnaz Jr. Melanie Griffith, Robert Carradine.
